Superior Room Amenities
The rooms plus terraces are 40m2 in size, naturally well lit and furnished in a contemporary style decorated with casual elegance. They have either two queen size beds or one king size bed with Egyptian linen sheets, duvet covers and two plush hypoallergenic pillows for each guest. Some of them can be connected to adjacent rooms for convenient family use.

All Superior rooms are designed for natural cross ventilation with thermal insulation for natural cooling. Rooms have remote controlled split air conditioners and ventilators for maximum guest comfort. The floors are made of Galapagos lava stone and are partially carpeted for comfortable bare foot walking.
The rooms have generously sized bathrooms of 20m2 that are naturally well lit and ventilated. The bathrooms are decorated with Dominican white coral stone with two under counter vanity basins with polished marble vanity tops, wall mirrors, a bathtub, and a separate, closed toilet room. The separate shower area lends itself to a nearly “alfresco” yet completely private experience with its magnificent ocean views. The bathrooms come supplied with a complete line of biodegradable luxury bath amenities and sensuous cotton bathrobes.
Superior rooms
These six beautiful rooms on the ground floor are nestled on top of the small plateau of our main crater and are conveniently close to the main building. All of them have panoramic floor to ceiling windows with access to private shaded terraces with breathtaking unobstructed views to the Galapagos National Park savanna and volcanic cones, to other islands and the Pacific Ocean.
They are 43 m2 in size including terrace, with a modern and cozy contemporary style decor and are naturally well lighted. They are furnished with either two queen size beds or one king size bed with cotton linens, duvet covers and plush hypoallergenic pillows, a desk with chair and two comfortable armchairs.

Windows have black out curtains for late sleepers.
They have a generously sized bathroom of 21 m2 with walk -in closet, two under counter vanity sinks and wall mirrors for each guest, a shower area with great ocean views for having nearly an “alfresco” shower experience with absolute intimacy and whether protection and a bathtub. These bathrooms have a separate closed toilet room, are naturally well ventilated, full of natural light and decorated with peruvian travertine marble. They come supplied with a complete line of biodegradable luxury bath amenities and plush cotton Bathrobes.

Reservations, Payments and Cancellation Policy for Groups (10 or more guests)
Reservations, Payments and Cancellation Policy for individual Guests
All reservations require a minimum deposit or US$ 350 per guest according to the following table:
• Reservations made within 120 days or more prior to arrival date: Deposit within a maximum of 10 days after date of request. Total payment maximum 60 days prior to the arrival date.
• Reservations made between 119 and 90 days prior to arrival date: Deposit within a maximum of 10 days after date of request. Total payment maximum 60 days prior to the arrival date.
• Reservations made between 89 and 0 days prior to arrival date: Total payment should be made immediately.
Special reservations conditions for Exploration Packages during Christmas and New Year.
• A deposit of 10% must be paid immediately to confirm the reservation.
• 30% of package rate, 240 days prior to arrival date.
• 50% of package rate, 180 days prior to arrival date.
• Balance of the total payment should be made 120 days prior to arrival date.
NOTE: All reservations have a “Tentative” status until the reception of the required deposit. With the deposit, the reservation(s) will be changed to a “Pre-confirmed” status. With total payment, it will be changed to a “Confirmed” status.
Cancellations and penalties:
• Cancellations made 90 days or more prior to arrival date have no penalties. Cancellations made between 89 and 60 days prior to arrival date have a USD $350 per guest service charge.
• Cancellations made between 59 and 26 days prior to arrival date, 50% of the total package rate will be forfeited.
• Cancellations made between 25 and 0 days prior to arrival date, 100% of the package rate will be forfeited.
• Pikaia Lodge does not accept changes in the reservation dates. In case the guest(s) changes the reservation, we will consider it as a new reservation and is subject to all the applicable penalties.
• We strongly advice our guests to take a vacations cancelation insurance with their local insurance Company.
• If a travel agent does not send the total payment to our office or our bank account on the dates and conditions specified by our reservations and cancelation Policy, Pikaia Lodge is entitled to cancel the reservation, and will not be held responsible for the cancellation towards the guest.
